My wife’s and my relationship with the Orsinis started when we bought a villa in Rapallo about 5 years ago.

Prior to buying our villa my wife and I had some concerns about the logistics of buying and then managing a property in Italy as we live in Australia

Orsinis were the selling agent but were very helpful in assisting the purchase process in particular liasing with the notary, the owner and after the sale was complete, in managing in a seamless manner, the transfer of all the utilities to our name, establishing bank accounts etc.

We then undertook extensive renovations of our property. I am pleased to say that the renovations came in on budget and were completed ahead of time. There was not a single hitch in the process. A large part of that was due to the liason role played by the Orsinis with the architect, interior designer etc

The Orsini’s have continued to manage the day to day issues relating to our property- paying all the bills, attending to the various statutory meetings as our representatives (our villa is in a compound with a mix of our privately owned land and some communally owned land (eg pool, olive groves etc)), overseeing any necessary repairs and maintanence matters.

They have always been responsive and helpful throughout.

I believe the fact that they are English speaking is very important as many of the “locals” (tradesmen etc) speak little if any English.

My wife and I feel very comforted by knowing that our property is managed by the Orsinis
